We imagine hundreds of new concepts each year at Lund and Company Invention, L.L.C. – and from imagining, we experiment and bring into being over a hundred of these as working prototypes. We will see a dozen or more of our products licensed and brought to market each year. Throughout our 25 year history, we’ve designed toys in just about every category imaginable, including small and large feature dolls and plush characters, electronic games, preschool action games, vehicles, outdoor toys, action figures, interactive candy, puzzles, activity toys, novelties and more.
We no longer define ourselves as just “toy designers.” We changed our name several years ago to Lund and Company Invention, L.L.C. to focus ourselves on what we do best – and that is Invent!! So we now invent, develop and license innovative products for the toy industry and beyond, including lawn and garden, hardware and tools, housewares, kids electronics, outdoor and sporting goods, giftware and a new exploration into low-cost hydrogen based products.
We often team with other companies and entities in these ventures, ranging from small start-ups to mid-size corporations and global conglomerates, here in the US, and internationally. We have won numerous awards for our designs, including one from NASA – and we’ve worked with major universities, research centers, and government agencies, including Argonne National Laboratory, the Department of Defense, the City of Chicago Park District, and many others. Of course, we still produce scores of the most innovative new toy, game, interactive candy and electronic products every year for our valued toy industry clients.
Year by year, our team has become more cohesive, more talented, and stronger in every way. We have one of the best teams of inventors and designers in the toy industry. We are a powerful resource to the companies we work with every day. We are incredibly inventive and prolific, responsive, and dependable. We strive to always deliver more than promised, and on time. Our goal is always to delight, to astonish and to amaze.
The Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids of Egypt, Landing Man on the Moon – all started as an idea, a vision imagined in the mind of one person. Virtually everything in our world, every object, every event, every product of the hand of man, from the mundane to the revolutionary, all started with imagination. Imagination, combined with the ability to turn a vision into reality, really does change everything.
